IIIA Femoral Plates (19522) — Lightweight Concealable Femoral Armor Kit
Protect the femoral arteries and lower torso with Hoplite Armor’s IIIA Femoral Plates (19522) — a purpose-built, ultra-light femoral protection system engineered for high threat environments, executive protection, and civilian defensive use. These Level IIIA multicurve femoral plates provide targeted frontal coverage to the femoral artery, reducing the risk of catastrophic lower-body hemorrhage while preserving mobility and comfort.

Premium Design & Materials
Each 6" × 10" plate is formed with buoyant polymer armor composites and precision-shaped in a multicurve 3D profile to match human anatomy. The result is a low-profile plate that maximizes surface contact, reduces pressure points, and stays comfortable for long periods—ideal for concealed or overt use. At only ≈11 ounces per plate and under 0.375" thick, these are among the lightest femoral solutions available.

Low-Profile Carrier & Secure Fit
The kit includes our laser-cut carrier constructed from Squadron polymer laminate—a minimalist, durable carrier that prevents tenting and provides a seamless fit. The laser cut carrier system is designed to mount to a standard 1.75" MOLLE battle belt, the carrier uses 1 vertical support and 2 lateral elastic supports to keep plates stable during movement.

Our unique concealable combat pant carrier system is also available and the IIIA plate option also integrates easily with compression football-pad girdles shown in our image carousel.

Ballistic Performance & Safety
These Level IIIA femoral plates stop a wide range of handgun threats up to .44 Magnum (see attached test report). Polymer construction delivers multi-hit, edge-to-edge protection with zero spall—rounds are absorbed within the plate rather than fragmenting.
